hello and welcome

For years I have contemplated blogging about my adventures/self discovery in motherhood, as well as my love of cooking. The other day, as I was stewing over an issue with a close friend I decided it was definitely time to find an outlet for my "fountain of knowledge"- more commonly referred to as an opinion, so I've finally worked up the courage to give it a go.

I'm a conservative mother with a handsome husband and 2 beautiful children.  I enjoy cooking, making jewelry, digital scrap booking (to a fault), most craft projects, football, and spending time with family & friends.  I usually speak before I realize what has escaped my lips, often causing me to gasp at my own comments- hopefully writing them down will give me time to contemplate before hitting the publish button. lol ;)

I don't know what I expect, besides an outlet for my creative ramblings and a place to record my growth as a strong-minded woman, mother & wife. I hope to be amusing and, hopefully, informative.
